This recap series is of a short WEG 1e Star Wars campaign I am running.

SCENE 01 – THE RUTAN SYSTEM Following an urgent message from Nogill Bendo, Jedi Yolt Shakor and the crew of The laughing Rancor made all haste to his base on Rutan. Being escorted from the landing pad by Bendo’s security team, the crew passed through the vast field of used land speeders Bendo has amassed for export throughout the galaxy as a front for his more covert activities. Bendo warmly greets Shakor and tells him that there are some interesting developments happening in the Velmore System; Sith General, Vero Kordall has appointed his nephew, Commander Horo Dessik command of the Velmore System and they have since locked down the system and its surrounding area. The only thing known about Velmore is that it contains an unknown “astronomical object”. Bendo tells Shakor that the really interesting parr, however, is the fact that Kordall is scheduled to meet an arms dealer, Lin Done in an undisclosed to location to purchase a message capsule Done has acquired from a black market dealer named Essami Graven. Bendo tried to purchase the message capsule with the intent of selling it to the Republic, but Done outbid him.

SCENE 02 – On board the Laughing Rancor, Seff Ka leaves a message for a bounty hunter contact of his, Ku’mi Go to find out what she knows about another bounty hunter by the name of Tala Baize. However, the crew is unaware that they are being tracked by another bounty hunter on the trail of Kane Silas, by the name of Sirrax.

SCENE 03 – OHANN-3 – Arriving at the moon Ohann-3, the crew heads right to the gambling house of Essami Graven, hoping to find hear there.
Once inside, they split up. Shakor and Castan Hellbran head to the pazzak tables in the back, guarded by a Gamorean and a Twilik that collects the entry fee.
Once in the gambling hall, they see Graven cleaning out her competition at a pazzak table. Hellbran is pretty sure she is cheating but cannot figure out how. Shakor notices, however, and uses the force to subtely assist Hellbran into winning. (Hellbran is unaware of Shakor using the force, assuming he is winning by his skill alone).
After the table clears, Hellbran and Shakor ask about where Done is meeting Dessik. Graven tells them that she will give them the info (after they threaten to expose her cheating) if they make a small delivery for her. They agree to her terms.

SCENE 04 – Meanwhile, in the cantina, HK-47 and SIlas notice two cloaked figures who marked them entering. After consulting with a data slate, they leave the cantina; HK and Silas follow them.

SCENE 05 – Seff Ka left the group when they landed and proceeded straight to the communications terminal to speak with Ku’mi Go. Ku’mi informs Seff that Tala Baize is a second-rate bounty hunter. Seff asks if she can track down Baize’s whereabouts and Ku’mi says she will see what she can do.

At that moment, a laser blast nearly takes Seff’s head off. He had been followed to the communications terminal by Sirrax and now Sirrax had set up a position and was firing at him.

The two men from the cantina arrive at that point and Sirrax orders them to open fire. Seff jumps behind cover.

As the alarms sound and security forces close in on the communications terminal, the crew makes a hasty retreat to the Laughing Rancor.

SCENE 06 – SIlas, Seff, and HK make it back to the Laughing Rancor just as the mystery shipment from Graven arrives. Shakor and Cas arrive just afterwards and the crew takes off before they can be detained by security.
