After securing a ship’s bilge pump and other necessary supplies, the party gathers again, this time prepared for their trip to Ten Kings. The party is expanded with the addition of Arestel, a retired professor from Aetos University, who now rents out his carting services.
The party sets out from Aetos on 1 Coldeven, with overcast skies and heavy rains following them all the way to Barrow 2.
Much care (and time) is spent once the bilge pump is in place and the north chamber drained. With the water removed, the party discovers primitive cave painting painted on the northeast wall, as well as sandals, rough spear hafts, and two large tusks, amongst the coins recovered.
Beyond the opening in the wall appears to be a system of subterranean caverns and tunnels leading into the darkness.
After recovering the coins from the north chamber, the party is generous in their payments in an attempt to secure the loyalty (and silence) of Karrax, her men, and Arestel. Zarka takes the tusks to the Aetos Museum. Howevert, without proper authentication and the skull that the tusks were removed from, the best the curator can guess is that they are either the tusks of a giant sabre-toothed cat, or replicas thereof used in some form of religious ceremony.
