SCENE 01 – Simon-6, aided by Anna-5, queues with the other Children of Annu to board the craft for Ascension. Simon notes several Sandmen among the throng, but they make no direct contact with Simon. No attempt is made to disarm any of the Sandmen.

SCENE 02 – Entering the ship, there is a central ladder the passengers ascend before being strapped into their seats. Anna-5 kisses Simon-6 on the cheek before joining Andrew-12 in the cockpit.
SCENE 03 – With all of the passengers on board, the ship begins its ascent. Unused to the forces put upon his body, Simon-6 loses consciousness…
SCENE 04 – Reggie-8, Phoenix-6, and Apollo-10 are following Simon-6’s signal when the sound an fury of the rocket drowns out all sound and they observe the ship as it sails through the sky. The Sandmen do not know the destination of the rocket and guess it to be another location on the planet’s surface, the thought of space travel being completely alien to them.
While the others are looking upwards, Phoenix looks across the ruined remains of the highway and sees several Cubs near the exit ramp to the Kennedy Observation Station. The Cubs were left behind to guard the site and are equally in awe of the rocket ship’s ascent. Phoenix informs the others and they take cover behind various bits of wreckage before they can be discovered.

SCENE 05 – The Sandmen decide to use the element of surprise to possibly intimidate or scare off the Cubs. Simon emerges from behind a wrecked vehicle and fires at a group of Cubs, dropping one of them (age 13). The Cubs are thrown into confusion and begin to spread out.
Phoenix sneaks up close to another group of Cubs and tries to tackle one of them, striking one with is truncheon, the club making a sick, wet, smacking sound as the child goes down (age 13). However, the Cub recovers before Phoenix can restrain him and the Cub hits Phoenix across the ear with a piece of rebar, nearly taking Phoenix’s ear off in the process. Reggie shoots another Cub (age 11) and they begin to scatter into the wilderness jungle between the highway and the launch site.
Apollo fires at the fleeing Cubs in an attempt to scare them into surrendering, but ends up hitting another one (age 13). Phoenix recovers his truncheon and throws it at the legs of the fleeing Cubs, tripping one of them. Two Cubs escape into the command tower to alert their leader, Big Billy ( age 16).
Phoenix chokes out the Cub that tripped (age 12) and uses his body as a meat shield while Simon and Apollo close in on the launch pad, but stay inside the woods.
Big Billy emerges from the control tower with an automatic rifle and begins to randomly shoot at the Sandmen, missing them but the bullets land far too close for comfort, the trees providing the only cover.
Reggie fires a shot, killing Big Billy, and the two remaining Cubs flee into the jungle.
SCENE 06 – The Sandmen search the Ascension grounds, leaving nature to claim the fallen Cubs. Entering the command station, they are able to locate a communications bay and Apollo discovers that if they can figure out Ascension’s transponder codes, they may be able to communicate with Simon.
The Sandmen also discover that the remaining rocket has had several systems removed and put into the rocket that left. It appears that the remaining rocket can make the journey to Ascension Point, but the trip will need manual support as they are missing some automated systems modules.
SCENE 07 – Arriving at Ascension Point, Simon discovers that is, in fact, a massive observation satellite orbiting Earth. He also learns the basic history behind the cataclysm and what has happened on Earth: approximately 13,000 years ago, the alien race Annunaki came to Earth and created humans as a slave race to mine gold for them. Humans rebelled and drove the Annunaki off of the planet. About 4,000 years ago, the orbit of the Annunaki homeworld, Nibiru, fell between the Earth and its moon. This caused untold devastation on Earth and began a long campaign by the Annunaki to once again enslave the human race.
The Annunaki deployed an artificial intelligence to Earth, and taking the guise of the Central Intelligence, it shepherded humans to their so-called utopian society. Through Carousel, the Annunaki were able to cull the human race into a docile, passive society with no memory of past generations, no history, and no record of true events.
The enzyme which extends human life also fosters the genetic memory and engages the ‘worship gene‘ in the human race, preparing them for the return of the Annunaki and the establishment of a New Order.
SCENE 08 – Simon is able to get a communications terminal on Ascension Point to contact the command station and he fills in the other Sandmen on the plans of the Annunaki and the Children of Annu.
