I saw this RPG at the Compleat Strategist in NYC a couple of months ago and it immediately caught my eye, though I didn’t purchase it at that time. In a subsequent trip, I couldn’t avoid the gravitational pull of this game and picked it up.

Sadly, Osprey doesn’t support Bits and Mortar, which means I will have to purchase a separate PDF (boooo), but — man! — does this game look great.

The game is an expansion to Those Dark Places but instead of focusing on average, work-a-day people in the dark, confined corridors and work spaces with deadly aliens, you play as trained paramilitary hired by megacorps to deal with threats beyond the rent-a-cop security details.

Pressure is derived from the stress mechanic in the game.

Overall the design looks clean, the writing style is very brisk and concise, and the game mechanics look streamlined and easy to grasp.
