Moving onto the penultimate layer in Hobby Japan’s unboxing video of the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG deluxe box!

This layer has several translucent plastic markers/tokens, and 13 trait cards. As there are 13 jobs available in the Standard Rulebook, I am assuming that’s that this is for.

As you can see from the blank space, it’s meant to be placed below the player board, though some jobs appear to have many more traits than others!

The markers are left vague, but I think they would make great tokens to mark adventurer locations. They are too big to use as status markers in my opinion; I use colored glass beads for this and they work fine.
At the very bottom of the boxed set are the battle maps.

Besides the generic, two-sided, dry-erase battle map are several maps for use with the included scenarios. Once again, too reflective to me of much use to me, personally. (I cover the battle maps in Part 1)

And, finally, the bottom of the box.

CONCLUSIONS
I have never been more torn over a Final Fantasy product On the one hand, the components, packing, and presentation, all look fantastic. On the other hand, the reflective maps (which will probably not be used), metal dice (which I am not a fan of), the baffling metal coins, and the dry erase marker (which will not last very long) make me wonder who this boxed set is actually for. If it’s aimed at game masters, I would have much preferred to see it include 4 four player trays and another set of multi color plastic dice. Even if the price were higher, I could see it being of immediate use to a group.
But as it stands now, I cannot see a group investing $1,000 just so everyone can have the awesome player tray and cards. And then what does a group do with multiple copies of the maps?
Overall, I find this product confusing. My sense of FOMO wants the deluxe box purely as an object, which is could be the only thing HJ and SE are banking on. As a practical game aid, I fail to see its place in most groups.
