First day on the exhibitor floor was the usual blend of crowds, old and new faces, games, and game accessories.

I made a couple of purchases, which I will detail after the convention is over, but my main focus was to reconnect with a few people I knew and catch up.

At the top of that list was Adam Station at the Severed Books booth. I love those guys and the new book coming out, An Infinity of Ships looks absolutely fantastic: 150 pages of sci fi toolkit including ship types, names, and random generators for your sci fi game.

Also on that list was a stop at the Burning Wheel booth, where I was able to score a reprint copy of Jihad, the Burning Wheel reskin of Dune. Very much looking forward to reading this one!

I also picked up a copy of Arkyvr for Mothership 1e by Alewood Games. Some great stuff is coming out from Alewood; I will definitely be keeping an eye on his future releases.

Stopping by the Studio 2 booth is always a treat.

My list of booths to visit today grew longer and longer as I realized all I had missed in my first pass of the exhibition hall.

Today’s attendees will be the highest and the hall will be at its most crowded. Today is also SantaCon, which coincides each year w PAX Unplugged in some unholy clashing of worlds.

At least I know I have a great dinner awaiting me at Moriarty’s at the end of the day, and the grand finale to my offsite game!

Last night’s game into Neverland was a ton of fun. The heroes were able to stop a plot by Queen Mab to raise a Shadow army and overtake Neverland, and by extension, the World Above.
