Dateline: Friday, 27 April, 1900 – SCENE 01- 03 – Parker goes to Whitney‘s house, meeting up with William and Whitney. Over breakfast, they decide to scour the riverside and see if they can locate another entrance to the tunnels running under Arkham.
Parking in front of Whitney’s haberdasher, they venture into the Old Wooded Graveyard, which is covered in a thick, preternatural mist, very uncommon for this time of year and this late in the morning.

The friends split up to cover more ground, and Whitney hears the sound of something scrabbling over gravestones in the mist. He ventures forth and sees three ghouls headed straight for him.
Crying out, Whitney runs blindly into the mist. William hears Whitney’s cries and heads off the ghouls, but they are far more savage than anticipated. William is struck down immediately, and the ghouls begin to drag him back towards their tunnel.
Whitney, insensate, runs to the outer wall of the graveyard, where Parker helps him over the wall. Though every fiber of Whitney’s being is telling him to flee, he steels himself and together he and Parker climb back over the wall and search for William. It is easy to follow the trail of blood and hoof prints to the tunnel entrance used by the ghouls and they enter the tunnel on hands and knees to save their friend …
